Alyce & Alastair

Alyce & Alastair were married on 23rd February 2018 at Hambleton Hall Oakham Rutland.  As this was a winter wedding and the ceremony was due to take place at 4pm I knew I was going to have my work cut out as the natural light would be diminishing rapidly.  Alyce & Alastair were very cooperative and understood the limitations of a winter wedding and the day went without a hitch.

Hambleton Hall is a wonderful wedding venue for smaller wedding parties; built in 1881 as a hunting box by Walter Marshall, The building was converted into a country house hotel in 1979/80 by Tim and Stefa Hart and is set in splendid gardens which overlook Rutland Water.    This is the first time I have photographed a wedding at Hambleton Hall, hopefully it will not be the last; the location, standard of service and quality of food was without doubt the best I have seen in many years.  The restaurant has held one star in the Michelin Guide since 1982 and having tasted the food it is well deserved, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for their help and making me feel so welcome.

Anyway, back to Alyce & Alastair’s big day, here are just a few images taken from the day:

I wish Alyce & Alastair a very happy life together and hope they have health, wealth and good fortune in their life together.  Feel free to leave the couple a message below I am sure they look forward to hearing from you.
